Answers to the things people write in about most, and how to reach a human when the answer is not here.
Email app-support@md-tech.in. To get a fast, useful answer, include your device model, iOS or Android version, app version, and if it is about a specific estimate, the food or screen involved.
SlimPanda is free to download. Some features require a SlimPanda Premium subscription. Current options and pricing are shown inside the app, on the subscription screen.
Subscriptions are billed through the store you bought them from and renew automatically until cancelled. On iPhone, cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions → SlimPanda → Cancel Subscription. On Android, cancel in the Google Play Store app → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → SlimPanda → Cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge. You keep Premium access until the end of the paid period.
If you reinstalled the app or changed device, open the subscription screen and tap Restore Purchases, making sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account used for the original purchase. A subscription bought on one platform cannot be restored on the other.
Refunds are processed by the store that took the payment; we cannot issue them directly. For App Store purchases, request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. For Google Play purchases, request one at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions. If something went wrong on our side, email us and we will help you make the case.
On iPhone, steps sync from Apple Health. If your step count is not updating, check Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → SlimPanda and confirm the relevant categories are enabled. For camera-based food logging, check Settings → SlimPanda and enable Camera and Photos.
On Android, permissions live in Settings → Apps → SlimPanda → Permissions. Enable Camera and, if step tracking is not updating, the activity and physical-activity permissions.
SlimPanda estimates calories from images and text descriptions. It cannot measure the actual contents of your food, and no camera-based tool can. Oil absorbed during cooking, hidden layers and full-fat versus light ingredients are all invisible to a photo.
If an estimate looks wrong, it may well be. Edit the entry before saving. Our guide on AI calorie tracking accuracy explains where errors cluster and how to photograph for a better result.
You can delete your account and all associated data from inside the app: Profile / Settings → Delete Account. Full instructions, and what happens to each type of data, are on the delete your account page. If you cannot access the app, email app-support@md-tech.in from the address associated with your account. See the privacy policy for what is collected and how long it is kept.
Bug reports are most useful with steps to reproduce and a screenshot. Feature requests genuinely shape the roadmap, so if there is something missing, whether that is a food database region, an export format or an integration, tell us.
